About MBB

MBB Enterprises of Chicago, Inc. is an established masonry restoration contractor that specializes in the construction, restoration and repair of brick, terra cotta and concrete facades throughout the Chicago area, northwest Indiana and southeast Wisconsin.

Founded in 1992, our firm has renovated a broad range of buildings; including historical landmarks, in both the private and public sectors.

The majority of MBB’s projects are located in the public sector with the restoration of schools; both public (Chicago Public Schools/Public Building Commission) and private (city/suburban), park facilities (Chicago Park District) and public housing (Chicago Housing Authority/HUD). In addition to our extensive public sector work, our firm has restored many apartment buildings, hotels, mixed use facilities, office buildings and loft conversions.

Our firm also performs general construction services for many clients including the Chicago Park District; where we have planned and coordinated work of subcontractors, prepared progress reports, conducted construction meetings and procured all materials, equipment and labor services required for each project.

Our work is recognized throughout the Chicago area for its quality craftsmanship. In fact, the Illinois Indiana Masonry Council recognized several projects MBB has completed for excellence in masonry construction. Dozens of projects we have restored are listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, including the Marshall Field Garden Apartments and the Gibbons-Steger Building.

MBB combines decades of industry experience, old-world craftsmanship, and focused management to deliver projects that satisfy the demands of our clients, coupled with timely and cost-effective solutions to the specific needs of each client. MBB is often called upon by architects/engineers to assist in the early planning stages to properly evaluate and budget each specific project through valued engineering. Our firm is proud of its solid record of exemplary work.

MBB Enterprises of Chicago, Inc. is a corporation, bondable to $15 million, and is signatory with three local unions. The City of Chicago, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the State of Illinois Central Management Services (CMS) all recognize MBB Enterprises as a certified WBE/FBE.
